THAT the Council of the Township of Uxbridge endorse the minutes, as amended, of the regular meeting of the General Purpose and Administration Committee of November 2, 2020.

THAT Report TR-41/20 of Susan Straughan, Tax Collector, be received for information, AND THAT Council approve the report relating to applications under Sections 357 & 358 of the Municipal Act, AND THAT Council authorize the Tax Collector to adjust the tax accounts accordingly.

THAT Report DS-55/20 of Elizabeth Howson, Macaulay, Shiomi Howson regarding Khani and J.P. Tramonti, Zoning By-law Amendment Application, conversion of existing dwelling to accessory residential and storage uses, 7920 Regional Road 1, Part of Lot 37, Concession 6, Township of Uxbridge be received for information; AND THAT Council approve the Zoning By-law Amendment for Khani and J.P. Tramonti, to permit conversion of the existing dwelling to accessory residential and storage uses, 7920 Regional Road 1, Part of Lot 37, Concession 6, Township of Uxbridge; AND THAT Council adopt the implementing Zoning By-law Amendment.

THAT Report DS-35/20 of Elizabeth Howson, Shiomi, Macaulay, Howson regarding an Extension of Temporary Use By-law Part Lot 15, Concession 1 (Uxbridge), 3759 Durham Regional Road 30, Township of Uxbridge, Cairo Group dated November 9, 2020 be received for information AND THAT the application by Cairo Group for the extension of the temporary use for three years to permit a small scale industrial glass and aluminium fabrication operation use with a building with a maximum size of 4,645 square metres on the lands at Part Lot 15, Concession 1 (Uxbridge), 3759 Durham Regional Road 30, Township of Uxbridge at be approved and the implementing by-law adopted; AND THAT any application for expansion of the building existing as of August 10, 2020 be subject to site plan approval under the Planning Act prior to the issuance of a building permit and that as part of the site plan approval process a stormwater management report, including a discussion of on-site water balance under pre-development, post-development (unmitigated) and post-development (mitigated) conditions, and a Site Grading Plan and Erosion Sediment Control Plan be submitted and be circulated to the TRCA for their review and comment.

THAT leave be granted to introduce By-law Nos. 2020-111 to 2020-125 and the same be read a first and second time.

THAT By-law Nos. 2020-111 to 2020-125 be now read a third time, finally passed and the Mayor and Clerk duly sign and seal same.

THAT the Council of the Township of Uxbridge support the request of the Goodwood Lions Club to erect a skating rink at the Goodwood Community Centre; AND THAT signs stating COVID-19 health protocols be clearly posted around the area.

THAT leave be granted to introduce By-law No. 2020-126 , being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of its regular meeting of Council of November 9, 2020 and the same be read a first and second time."
